PRIORITIES

Education & Youth Opportunity

As a former teacher, I’ve seen how education changes everything. I’ll fight to keep state funding in public schools where it belongs, push for smaller class sizes and safer campuses, and expand after-school and career-tech programs that prepare students for real jobs.

Every child in District 60 deserves a fair start and a reason to stay close to home after graduation.

Healthcare, Mental Health & Quality of Life

Families shouldn’t have to drive across counties to see a doctor or wait months for mental-health help. I’ll support funding for local community clinics, mobile health units, and expanded mental-health services. I’ll also back fair pay for EMTs and nurses and better state reimbursement so our hospitals and emergency systems stay strong.

Healthy communities are strong communities and care should never depend on your ZIP code

Jobs, Trades & Small Business

A good job and a steady paycheck fix more problems than any speech. I’ll support policies that train workers in high-demand trades, expand apprenticeships through Alabama Works, and make it easier for small businesses to access state micro-grants and startup help.

When we invest in our people, we grow our own economy right here in District 60

Infrastructure & Community Investment

We pay taxes; we deserve to see them working for us. I’ll push to bring our fair share of state transportation and infrastructure dollars back home, resurfacing roads, repairing bridges, and finally fixing drainage and flooding that have been ignored for years.

I’ll also hold industrial polluters accountable for what they dump near our homes and make sure environmental cleanup funding reaches our neighborhoods.

Public Safety & Emergency Readiness

Safety isn’t just about fire or police, it’s about prevention, preparation, and partnership. I’ll fight for stronger funding for first responders, better training and equipment for fire, police, and EMS, and stronger collaboration between local agencies and Alabama EMA. But I’ll also push for youth programs, re-entry support, and mental-health crisis response so we stop problems before they become emergencies.

Public safety means protecting every part of community life.

Accountability & Trust in Leadership

You deserve to know where your money goes and what your representative is doing. I’ll publish regular updates, share how I vote, host community check-ins, and support stronger ethics laws that end self-dealing in Montgomery.

Leadership isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being present.
